The Jinhae Gunhangje Festival has grown into a festival where people, the city, and culture come together amidst the spectacular sight created by 360,000 cherry trees every spring. Marking its 64th anniversary, this year's Jinhae Gunhangje Festival captures the identity of Jinhae Bay even more deeply and takes a step further as a festival where visitors can stay and enjoy.

This year's festival is set to feature a diverse range of programs across the entirety of Jinhae, where music, streets, and culture and arts seamlessly intertwine. Performance content, including the Cherry Blossom Music Festival, will offer a unique way to enjoy Jinhae's spring with its cherry blossoms. The Gunhang Brand Fair and Gunhang Village, which feature a revamped version of the existing night market, will be operated at Jungwon Rotary and major streets. Through this, we aim to create a street-style festival space where local commerce and festivities harmonize, and to provide an environment where tourists can linger and enjoy themselves.

The Military Band and Honor Guard Festival, a symbol of the Jinhae GunhangjeFestival, will also continue as a representative event this year. The military band and honor guard performances and parade will create meaningful scenes that capture the unique identity of the naval port city of Jinhae.
